Crown Veterinary Dental Specialists started about 3 years ago as a conversation about our ideal hospital environment. It was based on decades of working in a variety of practices.
Our Why
Drs. Heather Duncan and Kristin Scott have a combined 46 years in the Veterinary profession. With 19 of those years combined as Veterinary Dental Specialists or Board Certified Veterinary Dentists. They were both in general practice prior to their 3 year formal dental residency programs. Drs. Duncan and Scott have experience in developing thriving Dentistry Departments at large multi-specialty hospitals. Their discussion and dream of developing CROWN, which is a boutique hospital where the focus is on the patients, and their parents and creating the best possible experience for CROWN’s clients and employees, started in 2020.
Their goal is to make each patient and client know that they are the main focus and to provide a hospital where everyone enjoys coming to work and collaborating. They have been able to hand-pick each piece of state-of-the-art equipment needed to provide the best possible care for their patients. A goal that is very important to them is to be a pillar for the community and to be a resource for your Family Veterinarian.
